Job summary

Toledo Tool & Die seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance on robotic welding and assembly lines in an automotive environment. You will supervise technicians, coordinate PM/PdM programs, and ensure safety, uptime, and cost controls.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing maintenance with supervisory experience, strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, and familiarity with IATF 16949 standards. Full benefits and competitive wages offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, automotive experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory or team-lead experience required.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with robotic welding and assembly equipment.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 and automotive industry requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance operations on robotic welding and assembly systems.
• Assign, coordinate, and monitor maintenance work orders to ensure timely completion.
• Support PM and PdM programs to improve equipment reliability.
• Lead troubleshooting during equipment breakdowns and provide hands-on support.
• Ensure safe work practices, including LOTO, machine guarding, and PPE usage.
• Collaborate with Production to plan maintenance around schedules.
• Update maintenance procedures and standard work for consistency.
• Provide coaching and training to Maintenance Technicians.
• Monitor KPIs such as downtime, PM completion, MTTR, MTBF, and parts usage.
• Assist in vendor management and parts ordering.
• Support facility maintenance and safety system upkeep.
