Five Star Automotive Group is hiring an Experienced Automotive Title Clerk in Georgia. The role requires handling state registrations, tax/title paperwork, and title processing for new and pre-owned vehicles. Notary experience is a plus.

The ideal candidate is highly organized with automotive exposure, capable of multitasking, and proficient in customer service and accurate documentation. A clean driving record is required to manage inventory titles and MSOs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process state registration documents and ensure tax/title paperwork is complete.
• Handle payoffs and registrations for new and pre-owned vehicles, including license plates.
• Submit bills, contracts, warranties to the DMV or relevant agency.
• Verify forms for completeness and signatures; ensure accuracy of sale/purchase prices.
• Maintain files of sales, prices, payments, warranties, service contracts and other related information.
• Maintain titles and MSOs for inventory.
• Prepare title work for sold vehicles and submit to DMV.
• Enter used vehicle purchases into inventory.
• Notary Public is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Automotive Tag & Title Experience Required
• Process documents for state registration, follow the proper paperwork and ensure that tax and title documents are also completed.
• Process all payoffs, registrations for new and pre-owned vehicles, all license plate issuing and transfers and obtain all dealer titles.
• Send bills, contracts, warranties and service contracts to the appropriate agency, such as the department of motor vehicles.
• Check for completeness and signatures on all required parts of forms. Additionally, vehicle title clerks may check for accuracy of vehicle sale and purchase prices.
• Maintain a file of sales, prices, payments, warranties, service contracts and other pertinent information related to the sale or transfer of a vehicle.
• Maintain titles and MSO’s for inventory.
• Prepare title work for sold vehicles and submit to DMV.
