Job summary

Martin Tire Company is seeking a Store Manager (Manager on Deck) to drive overall store performance, guest services, and profitability in El Paso, TX. You will lead a team, manage operational costs, and oversee HR-related duties to ensure quality work and service.

The role offers comprehensive benefits and advancement opportunities within Sun Auto Tire & Service network. Must be able to relocate to placement in an open store upon program completion and work weekends.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience leading a team in a similar role.
• Experience in retail or automotive service management.
• Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly and annual plans with clear goals.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales and profit goals.
• Automotive technician or similar experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
• Willingness to relocate or accept placement in an open store after program completion.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations to maximize sales and profitability while controlling expenses and shrink.
• Set expectations and communicate job responsibilities, goals, training and customer service standards.
• Recruit, interview and hire in partnership with HR; conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Analyze business trends and implement plans to grow sales and meet targets.
• Share financial targets and results in team meetings; review invoices and daily reports for growth opportunities.
• Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising standards and housekeeping, both inside and outside.
• Ensure proper controls over assets and follow closing procedures.
