Job summary

Midas is seeking a seasoned Store Manager in San Francisco to lead automotive and general service teams, drive customer satisfaction and optimize store performance. You will own cost control, inventory management, safety, and P&L, while mentoring staff and delivering excellent service.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in store management, strong communication, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset to grow the business and ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of store or service manager experience.
• General automotive knowledge.
• Excellent customer service disposition.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong POS computer and Internet skills.
• Leadership ability and team-building skills.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all automotive and general service technicians in the shop.
• Recruit, hire, train, motivate, evaluate, schedule and coach employees.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers.
• Follow up with customers on services requested and estimated completion times.
• Oversee vehicle inspections and prepare repair orders with parts sourcing.
• Discuss pricing estimates and promote shop service specials.
• Lead and train the team in line with company values and vision.
• Oversee sales, accounting, and clerical functions from Service Advisors.
• Supervise inspections, diagnostics and repairs on various cars and light trucks.
• Maintain inventory counts and manage losses.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization and environmental compliance.
• Handle payroll records and hours scheduling.
• Submit daily sales reports to Corporate.
