Job summary

Magna Electronics in Michigan is seeking a Software Test Engineer to design component and integration test specifications, review architecture, and drive test execution and reporting for automotive electronic systems.

You will develop test plans and cases for bench tests, analyze results with diverse tools, enter defects, and deliver verification artifacts in line with GEP and customer expectations, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or electronics is required.
• Knowledge of automotive electronics and testing processes.
• Experience with automotive software testing tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and bench test cases.
• Review requirements to craft verification artifacts.
• Execute bench tests and record results.
• Analyze test data with various tools.
• Manage defects and support cross-functional analysis.
• Produce verification deliverables per GEP and customer expectations.
