Job summary

Magna Electronics seeks a seasoned Validation Engineer to develop and manage validation plans for automotive components, spanning analog, digital, optical, and environmental tests, with emphasis on ADAS and power products.

You will coordinate test setups, interface with design teams, and lead investigations using structured problem-solving to ensure high-quality results and timely project completion at Magna Electronics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of automotive engineering experience.
• Experience with environmental testing, temperature, vibration, humidity, enclosure and related electrical tests.
• Knowledge of Validation Test Plans, DVP&R, and validation standards (e.g., GMW3172, CS-1189, CETP 00.00-E-412).
• Proficient in data analysis and generating clear test reports for design teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop validation test plans and timing schedules to support program objectives.
• Coordinate test stands, EMC preparation, and external laboratory activities.
• Create and maintain validation procedures, work instructions, and data analysis reports.
• Lead cross-functional discussions to obtain inputs and deliverables for validation testing.
• Monitor testing progress and ensure on-site and lab activities meet quality and deadlines.
