Job summary

DARCARS of Silver Spring is now hiring for an Automotive Receptionist to be the frontline representative in the showroom. You will greet customers, direct them to the right department, and handle basic inquiries with a professional, friendly demeanor.

The role involves answering calls, taking messages, and supporting salesperson day-to-day activities, including basic data entry and maintaining the telephone roster.

Qualifications

• This role requires strong customer service and professional communication.
• English and Spanish bilingual ability is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet showroom customers and determine the nature of their visit.
• Direct customers to the correct department and notify sales staff as needed.
• Answer basic inquiries and route more complex questions appropriately.
• Enter data into the prospect tracking system and manage the switchboard.
• Provide basic information and distribute the company telephone roster as needed.
• Perform clerical and accounting duties as assigned by supervisor.
