Job summary

Fix Group Management is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations across multiple auto shops. You will drive production, oversee payroll, estimates, and customer experience while maintaining high standards and strong accountability.

The role emphasizes team leadership, process improvement, and collaboration with district leadership to grow shop performance. A 5-day work week with profit sharing and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop operations including production and board meetings.
• Ensure work is accurately dispatched and allocated to technicians.
• Conduct weekly flags and semi-monthly payroll processing.
• Review and write job estimates, manage jobs, and handle warranties and VIP accounts.
• Close job files, ensuring profitability and accuracy of repair orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and lot.
• Ensure all repairs, facilities, and equipment meet established quality standards.
• Implement quality control protocols to ensure all work meets company standards.
• Conduct customer follow-ups and review surveys/online feedback to uphold high satisfaction levels.
• If the advisor is not available to do a final walk around of the vehicle with the customer, the manager should do so.
• Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with employees to discuss performance and address any issues.
• Collaborate with the District Manager (DM) on recruiting, hiring, and conducting employee reviews.
• Work with the DM to maximize shop capacity through effective marketing, scheduling, and cultivating work sources, including insurance Direct Repair Program (DRP) performance.
• Drive initiatives to grow the shop and enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain a high standard of operational excellence and accountability among team members.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Commit to continuous improvement in processes and customer satisfaction.
