Job summary

Adient is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support material flow in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. You will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, manage trailer inventory, and maintain accurate shipping records to support production.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in shipping/receiving, strong Excel/Word skills, and familiarity with ERP systems like MFG Pro; forklift certification is a plus. This role is on-site at Normal, IL.

Qualifications

2+ years of shipping and receiving experience in manufacturing.
Experience with shipping documentation and receiving transactions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Knowledge of CT PAT and logistics compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments daily.
Maintain route manifest logs and shipping schedules.
Process Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN) and entries.
Track trailer inventory, dock and yard management.
Coordinate with warehouse, carriers and suppliers; ensure compliance.
