Manpower in Traverse City, MI is seeking a Service Writer to join the Customer Service and Service departments. The role focuses on clear communication with customers, documenting concerns, preparing repair orders and estimates, and coordinating service activities.

You will work closely with technicians and parts staff to ensure smooth workflows and timely repairs, confirm costs and timelines with customers, and support the payment process after service completion.

• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, vehicle maintenance, and repair processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information simply.
• Proficiency with computers and ability to learn industry-specific service management software.

Our client in the Automotive Services Industry is seeking a Service Writer to join their team. As a Service Writer, you will be part of the Customer Service Department supporting the Service Department. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Service Writer

Location: Traverse City, MI

Pay Range: $18/hr

Shift: Rotating weeks, 6:30am-3:30pm one week and 7:30am-4:30pm the next week.
