Job summary

pepboyscareers seeks a General Service Technician to perform basic automotive services, including tire mounting/balancing, oil changes, and vehicle inspections, while delivering an excellent customer experience.

The role requires maintaining a clean, safe work area, advising customers on necessary services, and supporting fellow technicians in technical tasks. Training will be provided and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Passion for a career as an automotive technician.
• Eager to learn and driven to succeed.
• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willing to work days, nights, holidays and weekends.
• Pre-employment background check clearance.

Responsibilities

• Learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems such as brakes, alignments, suspensions.
• Change engine oil and filter.
• Install and perform tire maintenance including mounting and balancing.
• Install batteries, headlights, and wipers; assist fellow technicians.
• Keep shop clean and organized; follow safety rules.
