Job summary

The Pep Boys Manny Moe & Jack LLC is seeking a General Service Technician in Daytona Beach, FL. The role involves basic automotive services, tire work, oil changes, and customer-focused support in a busy tire and service department.

You will diagnose simple vehicle issues, learn in training sessions, and help ensure a safe, clean shop environment while assisting customers with recommended services.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Availability to work days, nights, holidays and weekends.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic automotive issues including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling and electrical.
• Perform oil changes and tire maintenance.
• Install batteries and check starting/charging systems; install headlights and bulbs.
• Repair flat tires and stock/unload tires; assist other technicians.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop and follow safety rules.
