Job summary

Auto Plus in Florida is seeking a General Service Technician with mechanical aptitude to perform basic automotive services, tire mounting and balancing, oil changes, and vehicle inspections in a clean, safe shop while delivering excellent customer experience.

You will also assist other technicians, stock tires, and ensure shop safety and organization; training will be provided to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems and to upsell recommended services to customers.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Mounting and balancing tires; tire repairs and oil changes.
• Inspect vehicles and perform basic automotive services.
• Install and check batteries; inspect starting/ charging systems.
• Install headlights and other bulbs; repair flat tires.
• Stock and unload tires; assist fellow technicians.
