Job summary
Auto Plus is seeking a General Service Technician to perform basic automotive services including oil changes, tire work, and inspections while delivering an excellent customer experience. You will maintain a clean, safe shop and may advise customers on recommended services.
Responsibilities include diagnosing basic vehicle issues, performing maintenance, and assisting other technicians. Must be 18+, have a valid driver's license, and pass a background check.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Passion for a career as an automotive technician.
- Willing to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background check.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair basic automotive systems (brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, electrical).
- Learn new technical information and techniques through formal training.
- Change engine oil and filter.
- Install and perform tire maintenance.
- Install batteries and check starting/charging systems.
- Install headlights and other small bulbs.
- Repair flat tires.
- Stock and unload tires.
- Assist fellow technicians in technical activities.
- Keep management aware of repair problems as they occur.
- Maintain a clean, organized shop and adhere to safety rules.
