Job summary

Pep Boys in Orange Park, FL is seeking a General Service Technician with a mechanical aptitude to perform basic automotive services, including tire mounting/balancing, oil changes, inspections, and other non-technical tasks while delivering excellent customer service.

You will maintain a clean, safe work area in the tire and service department, assist fellow technicians, and may advise customers on services and repairs recommended for their vehicle.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes and electrical.
• Change engine oil and filter.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Assist fellow technicians in technical activities.
• Keep management informed of repair problems.
