Pep Boys in Dallas, TX is hiring a General Service Technician to perform basic automotive services, tire mounting/balancing, oil changes and inspections while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include recommending services, keeping the shop clean, and helping teammates. Must have a valid driver's license, HS diploma or GED, and willingness to work shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid drivers license and HS diploma or GED.
• Demonstrates mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
• Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling and electrical.
• Perform oil changes, tire maintenance, battery checks, headlight replacements.
• Assist technicians and keep the shop clean and organized.
• Adhere to safety and company policies.
