Job summary

Pep Boys in Arlington provides automotive services and is seeking a General Service Technician. You will perform mounting and balancing tires, oil changes, vehicle inspections, and other basic services while delivering an excellent customer experience.

You must have a valid driver's license, a High School Diploma or GED, and a willingness to learn. Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends is required; pre-employment background check is standard.

Responsibilities

• Learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling and electrical.
• Change engine oil and filter; install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, headlights and wiper blades; repair flat tires.
• Assist technicians; maintain organized, safe work area; follow safety policies.
