Job summary

Ken Garff Automotive Group’s Lexus of Lindon is seeking an Automotive Service Technician (Mechanic). You will perform repairs to dealership standards, diagnose concerns, and use the DMS for work orders.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S. with a valid in-state driver's license.
• A good driving record and valid driver’s license per company standards.
• ASE or dealership certifications highly preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders, in accordance with dealership, state and factory standards.
• Address customers' primary concerns with diagnosis, repair and quality control to attain 'Fixed First Visit' expectations.
• Perform the Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection along with video on every vehicle; notify Service Advisor if more time is needed to complete the repair.
• Master our Dealer Management System (DMS) for work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes, communication and time keeping.
• Complete required training as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout workspace and in all customer vehicles.
