Job summary

Ken Garff Mesquite Ford is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, repair and service vehicles at our Mesquite, TX location. You will perform multi-point inspections, ensure quality control, and uphold dealership standards with a focus on efficient, accurate work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications highly preferred.
• Prior automotive technician (mechanic) experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S. with a valid in-state driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders per dealership, state and factory standards.
• Address customers' primary concerns with diagnosis, repair and quality control to meet fixed first visit expectations.
• Perform the Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection and communicate additional recommendations as needed.
• Master the Dealer Management System (DMS) for work distribution, inspections, quotes, and timekeeping.
• Complete required training as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout workspace and in customer vehicles.
