Pep Boys, now part of the Mavis Tire family, is hiring full-time General Service Technicians to join Team Mavis at our automotive service centers in the Coon Rapids, MN area.

You'll perform tire services, oil changes, fluid checks, and routine maintenance while training on the job and advancing into lead roles. Competitive weekly pay, benefits, and a $800 new hire bonus are available.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required.
• Paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
