Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes in Minnesota is seeking full-time General Service Technicians to join our automotive service centers in the Coon Rapids area. This role offers paid training, competitive weekly pay, and opportunities to advance within the nation’s largest automotive service organization.

You will dismount/mount tires, perform oil changes, check fluids, and help keep vehicles safe on the road. New hires receive an $800 bonus and access to benefits, with growth paths to Alignment Technician,

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
