Job summary

Pep Boys is now part of the Mavis Tire family and we're growing our team in the Coon Rapids, MN area. As a General Service Technician, you will perform essential maintenance and tire services, learning hands-on skills alongside experienced automotive professionals.

This full-time role includes paid on-the-job training, competitive weekly pay, weekly incentive compensation, and growth opportunities within a national service organization. A $800 new hire bonus is available to join Team Mavis.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment
• Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
