Job summary

PEP BOYS / Mavis Tire is seeking a General Service Technician to perform essential maintenance and tire services at our automotive centers. This full-time role includes paid training and opportunities to advance within the organization.

You will work with experienced automotive professionals, performing tire mounting, oil changes, fluid checks, and basic inspections to ensure safety and quality service for customers.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
