PEP BOYS / Mavis Tire in the Clayson, MI area is hiring full-time General Service Technicians to join Team Mavis at our automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers. As a General Service Technician, you’ll mount, balance and rotate tires, perform oil and filter changes, check fluids, and help maintain safe, high-quality customer vehicles.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment
• Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
