Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is looking for full-time General Service Technicians to join Team Mavis at our Pittsburgh, PA area centers. Paid training, benefits, and opportunities for advancement are offered as part of the nation’s largest automotive service organization.

As a General Service Technician, you will perform essential maintenance and tire services, work with experienced professionals, and build hands-on skills for a long-term automotive career with opportunities to advance into leadership

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality service.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identify visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow established safety and service procedures.
• Help ensure quality service and timely completion.
