Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is hiring General Service Technicians for our automotive service centers in the Niles, OH area. This full-time position offers paid training, competitive weekly pay, and a clear path for career growth within the country’s largest automotive service organization.

You will perform essential maintenance and tire services, including tire mounting/balancing, oil changes, fluid checks, and basic inspections, while adhering to safety procedures in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
