SONS Automotive Group is seeking a Service Technician for our service department. We value strong teamwork and automotive expertise, and we welcome novice techs as we provide training. ASE certifications are preferred, and a clean, valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• ASE certifica tions preferred.
• Novice techs encouraged to apply - we will train you!
• Strong automotive background required.
• Strong teamwork skills expected.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
• Must have clean & valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional service needs and provide time estimates for repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
