Job summary

Napleton Italian Imports in Carmel, Indiana seeks an Automotive Service Technician to repair and maintain vehicles per dealer and factory standards, building trust with customers through accurate diagnostics and service. The role requires automotive technician experience; ASE/Maserati/Chrysler certifications are desirable.

Strong customer service and communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to undergo background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician experience required.
• ASE, Maserati, or Chrysler certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to undergo a background check.
• 18+ years of age to comply with driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area
