Job summary

Ken Garff Hyundai Surprise is seeking an Automotive Service Technician (Mechanic) who aligns with our values of respect, integrity, growth, humility and teamwork. You’ll perform repairs to factory standards and participate in the PRO TECH program, with rewards and recognition for performance and tenure.

Ideal candidates have prior technician experience; ASE or manufacturer certifications are highly preferred, plus a high school diploma and legal work eligibility in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Accommodating and analytical, while producing highly precise and accurate work.
• Resourceful with a high level of technical expertise.
• Unselfish and approachable with detail-focused work.
• Prior automotive technician experience preferred and ASE dealership certifications highly preferred.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S. with a valid in-state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and expert repair work per dealership/state/factory standards.
• Address customer concerns with diagnosis, repair and quality control to Fixed First Visit.
• Utilize Dealer Management System for work distribution, inspections, quotes, and timekeeping.
• Complete required training and maintain workspace cleanliness.
