Job summary

Tire Discounters, the nation's largest family-owned tire and automotive service retailer, is seeking a Service Technician to perform tire installation and maintenance, alignments, brakes, engine diagnostics and routine services at our Alabama location.

You will contribute to daily operations, deliver quality inspections, and maintain a safe, organized work area while collaborating with teammates. Excellent pay plan includes weekly hourly pay, labor-based commission and overtime.

Qualifications

2+ years of automotive repair experience; ASE preferred but not required.
Must have own tools (tool purchase program available).
Ability to operate automotive vehicle lifts and shop tools; diagnostic scanner a plus.
Strong customer service, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provides accurate and timely quality vehicle inspection, maintenance and repairs, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded.
Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure functionality and overall safety.
Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
Foster a collaborative team environment and assist as needed.
