Job summary

Tire Discounters is seeking a Service Technician to perform automotive services such as tire installation, brake work, alignments, and diagnostics. You will contribute to daily operations at the shop and ensure high standards of safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 2+ years of repair experience, own tools, and the ability to work Saturdays. Competitive pay includes a weekly hourly rate plus commission, with a full benefits package and tool program assisting career growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive repair experience.
• Must have own tools (tool purchase program available).
• Ability to operate automotive vehicle lifts, shop tools and equipment (diagnostic scanner experience a plus).
• Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and availability to work Saturdays.
• Authorized to work in the USA (18+).

Responsibilities

• Provides accurate and timely quality vehicle inspection, maintenance and repairs, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded.
• Test drives vehicles before and after repairs to ensure functionality and overall safety.
• Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and assist as needed.
