Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician in Greenville to repair customer vehicles and enhance guest experiences. You will perform routine repairs and diagnose with some assistance, focusing on light engine work, electrical systems, HVAC, steering, and suspensions.

You will also manage inspections, documentation, and warranty filing as part of daily duties. The ideal candidate has prior automotive technician experience, basic tools, and a willingness to pursue ASE and

Qualifications

• Must have minimum eighteen years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test).
• Prior automotive technician experience is required.
• ASE and manufacturer certifications are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Communicate with service advisor for additional work or delays.
• Maintain technician proficiency as defined by Asbury standards.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs and test drive when needed.
• Perform diagnosis and repair across vehicle systems.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance services.
• Engage in manufacturer training to stay current with technology.
