Qualifications

• One year experience in automotive repair preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Possess own tools.
• Attention to detail, organization, and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete service and repair assignments within the specified timeframe, ensuring repairs pass quality inspections and test drives.
• Diagnose and correct mechanical and electrical problems per manufacturer specifications.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical individuals including teammates and customers as required.
• Use manuals, computer systems, and technical bulletins to complete the repair order.
• Stay up to date on latest technical services, dealership policies and procedures through trainings and bulletins.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area; perform preventative maintenance and repairs on dealership tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies; participate in hazardous waste handling and OSHA safety rules.
• Coordinate with parts to ensure availability of parts for repairs; dispose of and return used parts appropriately.
• Promote the dealership with a professional image and positive attitude; support team, customers, and dealership goals.
• Complete and maintain factory certifications and trainings as directed by supervisor.
