Qualifications

• One year experience in the automotive repair industry preferred; hiring immediately.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver's license.
• Must be willing to purchase your own tools.
• ASE and brand certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete service and repair assignments correctly within the specified timeframe, ensuring repairs pass quality inspections and test drives.
• Diagnose and correct mechanical and electrical problems per manufacturer specifications.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical individuals and customers.
• Use manuals, computer systems, and technical bulletins to complete the repair order.
• Stay up to date on the latest technical services and dealership policies through trainings and bulletins.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Follow safety rules, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with parts department to ensure parts are available; dispose of used parts appropriately.
• Promote the dealership with a professional image and positive attitude.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers; provide technical assistance to teammates.
• Complete and maintain factory certification and trainings as directed.
