Jiffy Lube International is hiring a General Service Technician in Savannah, GA at 11708 Abercorn St. This entry-level role offers hands-on training through our certification program and a clear path to advanced automotive service work.

You’ll be servicing guests' vehicles and contributing to a positive guest experience while adhering to safety and quality standards. The position is full-time, with a robust benefits package including 401K, insurance, bonuses, and Employee Discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (i.e. retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Previous experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; independently motivated, dependable, and a team player
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform bending/squatting
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures and loud environments
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays
• Commitment to safety protocols and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours
• Demonstrate excellent guest service with clear communication about guest vehicles
• Ensure service center is clean and presentable
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level automotive technicians
• Check oil level and communicate with teammates
• Ensure tire pressure is correct for proper inflation
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
• Complete vehicle inspections and report safety issues to management
• Document all work performed on repair orders
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
