Jiffy Lube International, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL seeks a General Service Technician.

In this entry-level role, you will service guests' vehicles, participate in our training program to gain certification, and start a rewarding career with Team Car Care. You will be expected to communicate clearly with guests and teammates, maintain a clean service center, and follow safety procedures while handling oil changes, tire pressure checks, and fluid level inspections.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience.
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions.
• Effective communication with guests and teammates.
• Strong work ethic, dependable, and a team player.
• Physically able to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform bending/squatting.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours.
• Provide excellent guest service with clear communication about guest vehicles.
• Keep the service center clean and presentable.
• Mentor junior and mid-level automotive technicians.
• Check oil level and communicate with teammates; ensure proper tire pressure.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary and complete vehicle inspections.
• Install a new oil drain plug and oil filter; lubricate fittings.
• Document all work on the repair order and report safety issues to management.
• Adhere to company policy on vehicle care and operation; handle lifting and physical tasks.
