Team Car Care West, LLC is hiring a General Service Technician in Crestwood, IL. This entry-level role trains you to service guest vehicles and earn certification through our program. The position offers part-time hours, several bonuses, and benefits while you grow within a busy auto service environment.

You’ll join a team that emphasizes guest care, safety, and quality workmanship, with opportunities to advance through our training program and achieve certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (e.g. retail, food service, hospitality).
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Effective communication to interact with guests and teammates.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, dependable and team oriented.
• Demonstrates responsibility, attention to detail, follows procedures and makes sound decisions.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform bending/squatting.
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures, loud environments, and around exhaust fumes.
• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service guests' vehicles with top quality workmanship and guest satisfaction.
• Assist in maintenance of a clean, presentable service center.
• Provide guidance and mentor junior technicians when needed.
• Check oil level visibility and communicate with teammates.
• Ensure proper tire pressure and fluid levels are maintained.
• Document all work performed on repair orders and report safety issues.
• Adhere to safety policies and company vehicle care standards.
• Perform routine manual tasks, including lifting and repetitive motions.
