Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician (B Level) to perform routine repairs on customer vehicles and diagnose with some supervision. You will work on engines, transmissions, electrical, HVAC, and suspension, using your technical and mechanical skills to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.

You must have basic tools, a valid driver's license, and pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications heavily preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred.
• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Must have basic tools.
• Great technical and mechanical skills.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and basic engine work, transmissions, electrical, HVAC, steering and suspension.
• Document all work performed and update repair orders.
• Communicate with service advisor for additional work or delays.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs when needed.
• Perform diagnostics and routine maintenance.
• Utilize manufacturer training to stay updated on technology.
• Maintain CSI targets as defined by the dealer.
• Report safety or integrity risks to management.
