Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking a capable Automotive Service Technician to perform routine repairs and diagnostics on customer vehicles, with a focus on quality and efficiency. You will document work performed, communicate with advisors, and participate in ongoing manufacturer training to stay current with evolving automotive technology.

The role requires a strong technical background, a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications heavily preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred.
• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Must have basic tools.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and diagnosis on customer vehicles.
• Complete work to manufacturer specifications and warranty guidelines.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with service advisor on additional work and timelines.
• Participate in manufacturer training to stay current with new technology.
