Mike Willis Ford Orange is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join its Orange, Texas service team. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair customer and dealership vehicles following manufacturer and dealership standards, working from repair orders and coordinating with advisors and parts staff.

The ideal candidate has professional repair experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to safe, quality work.

Qualifications

• Previous professional automotive repair experience required.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets dealership requirements.
• Own or have access to professional automotive tools.
• Ability to pass background screening and drug screening.
• Ability to work safely in a service shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Review repair orders and complete assigned work efficiently and accurately.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and other vehicle concerns using diagnostic tools and information.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on vehicle systems per manufacturer standards.
• Communicate with Service Advisors when additional work is identified or timelines change.
• Coordinate with Parts Department to obtain parts and follow warranty procedures.
• Document diagnostic steps, repairs, and parts used on each repair order.
• Road-test vehicles to verify that repairs address customer concerns.
• Keep vehicles, tools, and work areas organized and clean.
