Job summary

Sunwise Auto Group is seeking Automotive Service Technicians of all levels to join the Weatherford BMW team. This position offers hands-on work on premium vehicles and opportunities for growth.

We provide factory and in-house training, competitive pay ranging from $20.00 to $50.00 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package. A positive attitude and good communication skills are essential for success in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years automotive technician experience required.
• Dealership experience preferred.
• European/highline vehicle experience a plus.
• ASE certification is a plus.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Receive and carry out repair orders as dispatched.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify repairs.
• Conduct quality control checks after repairs.
• Complete all repair paperwork and documentation.
• Maintain an organized, clean workspace.
• Communicate with service advisors and parts staff.
• Demonstrate Sunwise Auto Group values in all interactions.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receiving and carrying out Repair Orders as dispatched
• Performing diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs
• Performing Quality Control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete
• Completing all required paperwork and documentation for repair services
• Always maintaining an organized and clean workspace
• Communicating directly and efficiently with Service Advisors and Parts Department Employees
• Demonstrating behaviors consistent with Employer's values in all interactions
• Other duties given by supervisor, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 1-3 years of automotive technician experience
• Automotive Dealership experience preferred
• Highline or European experience a plus
• Automotive technical training or certification from an accredited automotive technical school preferred
• ASE Certification a plus
• Smog license a plus
• Proficiency in the use of common mechanic shop tools
• Must have valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
• A positive and friendly attitude
• Great communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent

COMPENSATION:

The Service Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $20.00 and $50.00. The position may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.

• Hourly and Flat Rate based on experience and certifications.
