Job description

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a Certified Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in various automotive systems, including transmissions, diesel engines, diagnostics, electric vehicles (EV), major and minor engine repairs, heating and air conditioning, glass and trim, as well as suspension.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers if additional service is needed and provide estimates for repair times.
• Execute repairs under warranty according to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications:

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, specializing in transmissions, diesels, and EVs.
• Conduct major and minor engine repairs with precision and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Minimum of 2+ years of Service Technician experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required.
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications.
• Valid driver's license.
