Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Certified Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in various automotive systems, including transmissions, diesel engines, diagnostics, electric vehicles (EV), major and minor engine repairs, heating and air conditioning, glass and trim, as well as suspension.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and according to dealership standards
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers if additional services are needed and provide estimates for repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty following manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, specializing in transmissions, diesels, and EVs
• Conduct major and minor engine repairs with precision and efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools
• At least 2+ years of Service Technician experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
• Dexterity with steady hands and excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills; ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
• Valid driver's license
