Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group in St. Peters, MO is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned per dealer and factory standards.

You will build customer loyalty by diagnosing vehicles accurately and communicating effectively with customers and staff. Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician experience.
• Excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
• 18+ years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals including customers and staff.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in training classes.
• Keep management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Automotive Service Technician experience
• ASE certification desirable
• Excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
