Job summary

Rochester Chevrolet Cadillac is seeking an experienced automotive technician to diagnose, maintain and repair vehicles at our state-of-the-art service department in Rochester, MN. You will work with advanced tools, test-drive vehicles and provide accurate estimates while communicating with the Service Advisor about needed additional work.

Ideal candidates have a strong automotive background, teamwork skills and a clean driver's license.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal.
• Strong automotive background.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
• Must have clean & valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about any additional services needed and provide estimated times for repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
