AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive and process repair orders
• Perform repairs accurately and efficiently
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform authorized repairs
• Coordinate with Parts Department
• Tag and manage parts, especially under warranty
• Communicate additional work needs or issues to service advisors
• Document all work performed
• Road-test vehicles to verify repairs
• Maintain work quality and attend training
• Stay updated with factory bulletins
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness
• Follow safety and housekeeping policies
• Comply with regulations governing service work

Physical Requirements:

• Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling
• Frequent walking, sitting, talking, hearing
• Lift up to 25 pounds frequently, up to 100 pounds occasionally
