Ed Napleton Automotive Group seeks an Automotive Service Technician at Volkswagen of Orlando to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles per dealer and factory standards, building customer trust.

You’ll work in a climate-controlled shop with organized tools, paid training, certifications, competitive wages, flexible shifts, and growth opportunities within a large, family-owned network.

Qualifications

• Automotive service technician experience required.
• ASE certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance per the repair order, efficiently and accurately to uphold dealer/factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical staff and customers.
• Stay current with factory bulletins and participate in factory training.
• Keep management informed of repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized work area.

Located atVolkswagen of Orlando, theAutomotive Service Technicianwill be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effectively diagnosing vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area

Job Requirements:

• Automotive Service Technician experience
• ASE certification desirable
• Excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Valid Driver's License
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
