Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician at Volkswagen of Orlando. The technician will perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealership and factory standards, building trust with customers through accurate diagnostics and clear explanations.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician experience.
• Excellent customer service.

• Valid Driver’s License.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance as outlined on repair orders per dealer and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals including customers.
• Stay up-to-date with factory bulletins and participate in sponsored training classes.
• Inform management of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized work area.

Located at Volkswagen of Orlando, the Automotive Service Technician will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effectively diagnosing vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area

Job Requirements:
