Job summary

Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers in Northampton, MA is seeking a General Service Technician. This hourly role can be full time or part time, depending on business needs, and focuses on basic vehicle repair and routine maintenance per Monro standards.

You will communicate vehicle issues to guests, perform tire and vehicle services, and assist with inventory while upholding safety policies and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Basic vehicle maintenance and repair knowledge.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Automotive training or experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform basic vehicle services per Monro standards.
• Tire services including removal, balancing, and TPMS.
• Oil changes, lubrications, and basic maintenance tasks.
• Complete Courtesy Inspection on every vehicle and document needs.
• Assist with inventory and store duties, keeping area clean.
• Follow safety standards and local regulations.
