Job Description: Automotive Service Technician

The Position

Performs vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned, following dealer and factory standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Receive repair orders and perform work efficiently and accurately
2. Diagnose malfunctions and perform authorized repairs
3. Coordinate with parts department
4. Tag, save, and return parts as needed
5. Communicate additional work needs or delays
6. Document all work performed
7. Road-test vehicles for quality assurance
8. Attend training and stay updated on technical bulletins
9. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards
10. Follow federal, state, and local regulations

Physical Requirements

Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling; frequent walking, sitting, talking, hearing; lifting up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds occasionally.
